Montenegro as Monte Carlo. You wouldn’t believe that such a small country could host such hospitality giants – yet the most luxurious hotels in the Balkans are right here in Montenegro. For most travelers, a summer trip to Montenegro means average accommodation – private rentals or hotels with prices that are generally affordable to all (or at least to most). However, if you have the opportunity, the advice is always to experience the best of the best. After all, you only live once -and maybe you’ll only visit Montenegro once too.
That’s why today I’m writing about the most luxurious hotels in Montenegro, with the note that this is a current list – and let’s hope the owners won’t be offended if someone’s left out.

1. One&Only Portonovi, Herceg Novi
